Tim West's Inspirational Journey

Career Path: Kitchen Porter > HND Hotel & Catering Management > Operations & Regional Manager > Managing Director > Chief Executive

“My first car was a Mini, I now have a Mercedes SL500"

My Story: With 3 A-Levels, I started Oxford Brookes University to study a HND Hotel & Catering Management. My first job was as a KItchen Porter and then went onto become an Assistant manager. Since then I have worked in several contract catering companies. My current job is Chief Executive of Lexington Catering, we provide on site catering services and I am responsible for a turnover of £20 million per year. My career high was winning a Catey award (the equivalent to the TV Oscars) and so far I have had no career lows.
