My Story: I was an average student but went on to complete a diploma in Hotel Management at the Lausanne Hotel School. After various stints as a cook and waiter in the Caribbean, Switzerland and London, my first real job was as assistant F&B Director. After a 3 year stint as Deputy GM I joined Rosewood Hotels and Resorts at The Lanesborough in Knightsbridge. From here, I had the opportunity to open 3 five star luxe properties. I then went to run a hotel for Orient Express in Sydney.
Funny Story: Not funny at all, but embarrassing....must be the day I took a restaurant reservation for the manager of Sandy Lane thinking he was a friend of mine prank-calling. He asked for a table of 4 around 9. I said he could have a table of 4 around my ****
