When I was younger people tried to dissuade me coming in to the hotel industry. They suggested I get a proper job. My parents wanted me to be a Barrister, my careers advisor insisted I went in to one of the professions and I wanted to be a Hotelier. Fortunately I got my own way. Having studied law and history at university I came down to London to work in a restaurant.
Great hotels provide unforgettable experiences. If you come and work in our industry you will have the opportunity to create other peoples unforgettable memories.

Never despair if you are working for a manager who seems rubbish: take what you can and learn, learn, learn. Then move on and become the supervisor you would have liked to have worked for.
