Our endorsed Colleges

The National Skills Academy for Hospitality has divised an accreditation process whereby any college that delivers the Diploma in Professional Cookery (VRQ) may provide an expression of interest to become endorsed for delivering the qualification to excellent and exacting standards in both content and delivery.

Criteria Amplification

A criteria amplification document has been produced to be used as an aid memoir for the Quality Committee and forms the basis for the assessment of the application.  Click here to download a copy of the Criteria Amplification.

We understand the difficult times everyone is enduring at the present time and so we have modified our approach to ensure that only excellence is the barrier to gaining our accreditation.

Accredited Colleges will be provided with differentiation, profile and coverage at every opportunity and will provide a direct pipeline of talent back into the industry.

There are currently 13 colleges accredited by The National Skills Academy and as of Spring 2011 they all have a direct link to enlightened employers in the industry who have signed up to
The Recruitment Academy, whereby only students qualifying at levels 1, 2 & 3 are provided with the opportunity of employment  at different levels and types.  A percentage of all recruitment fees are re-invested back into these colleges.

The fee to become an accredited college is £2,000 plus VAT which simply covers the costs incurred during the rigorous audit and review process.
