Summer to bring new brands
Two new restaurant brands are to open at St Martin’s Courtyard, the shopping and dining complex to launch in Covent Garden this summer.
Joining Jamie Oliver’s West End flagship outlet of Jamie’s Italian will be Cantina Laredo, a US-based Mexican restaurant chain that will be rolled out and operated across the UK by Oriole Restaurants.
The 220-cover Cantina Laredo will serve a high-end, gourmet Mexican menu across two floors, which will also feature a speciality tequila bar and private dining area.
Also launching at St Martin’s Courtyard, which will eventually offer five restaurants and bars, is Dishoom, a 150-cover all day Indian café specialising in Indian grilled food and inspired by the traditional cafes of Bombay.
Kate Taylor from Davis Coffer Lyons, restaurant agent for the development, said: “These two exciting new signings, both concepts brand new to London’s restaurant scene - complement Jamie’s Italian to create a truly eclectic eating and drinking offer. We are talking to a range of operators about the remaining two restaurant/bar units to create a dynamic new dining destination for the West End.”
St Martin’s Courtyard will also comprise of 23 shops, 37 luxury apartments and 69,000sq ft of office space.
